Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra initial renders leak, and the device’s weight is also disclosed.

Despite not being expected until January, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has been making headlines lately. Even the first round of leaked renders of the new smartphone was revealed today.

Keep in mind that these are CAD-based representations, thus certain details could not be realistic because the CAD files don’t have all the necessary information. This has been especially brought to light in this case by frequent leaker Ice Universe.

He claims that the design of the camera ring is currently unknown, therefore what you see here is just conjecture. We’re merely discussing the design and texture of the rings; the camera positioning is precise.

It appears that there are a few minor mistakes in the metal frame and bezel as well, but you should still bear these things in mind when viewing the leaked models. Although they give us a basic picture of the S25 Ultra’s appearance, they don’t perfectly capture every last feature.

According to earlier speculations, the S25 Ultra would include the same primary, 3x telephoto, and 5x telephoto cameras as its predecessor; the 50 MP ISOCELL JN3 sensor will only be updated for the ultrawide lens.

According to reports, the phone will weigh 219g, which is less than the 232g weight of the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the 227g weight of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Its dimensions will be 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm. It will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged with a 45W cable. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which is anticipated to become official next month, will power it.

A new frame design for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will improve ergonomics.

Although the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6 have been the talk of the town these last few weeks, it might be time to focus on the future Galaxy S25 range, since there will probably be more speculations in the months to come. According to one of the best tipsters for all things Samsung, the Ultra’s design will be changed.

Rumor has it that Samsung has already completed the designs for all three of the Galaxy S25 family members. It is stated that the asymmetrical frame shape of the S25 Ultra aids in grip.

It is said that the front of the frame will be more straight, and the rear panel will be more rounded to aid with grip. Additionally, the bezels will appear slimmer as a result of this, but we’re not exactly clear how that would be accomplished. The width of the handset will remain unchanged, while the side frame will generally be thinner.

Although this might be a wise design decision, we think the S24 Ultra’s sharp corners are the primary ergonomic problem. In contrast to other 6.8-inch smartphones, they provide the impression that the gadget is substantially larger than it actually is.

Either way, it’s a welcome change of pace, and we’re interested to see how ergonomics and usability will be impacted by the new design.
